Brand Identity, Website Design
& Social Media Visuals
To establish the initial brand identity and online presence for YoungPWR, a new platform designed to stimulate youth entrepreneurship. The primary goal was to build brand awareness through a content-focused website and engaging social media presence, laying the groundwork for a future matching platform connecting young entrepreneurs with work experience opportunities.
Collaborating closely with the founder (Suzan Schouten), the process involved foundational research and iterative design to bring this vision to life.
The first step involved foundational research into suitable colors, typography, and logo concepts that would resonate with a young, ambitious audience and reflect the platform's core mission of empowerment and entrepreneurship. We explored various styles to define an identity that felt both energetic and credible.
Simultaneously, we developed the social media visual strategy. I created a suite of visual templates and assets for social media posts, defining a consistent and recognizable style. This aimed to maximize engagement and build brand recognition across relevant platforms from the outset.
With the brand direction clearer, I designed the initial user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) for the content platform website. This phase focused on creating an engaging space for the initial goal of brand awareness and content delivery.
This involved creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to define the information architecture, user flow, and overall look and feel. The key was ensuring the site was intuitive, visually appealing, and effectively communicated the YoungPWR message, ready for development by Bytecode.
Beyond the initial content platform, we also looked ahead. I conceptualized the design for the future work-matching platform, ensuring it would align seamlessly with the established brand identity while incorporating the necessary functionality for connecting young entrepreneurs with opportunities.
Exploring interactive elements and user journeys through prototypes helped visualize how this next phase could function, ensuring the initial design choices supported future growth.
The outcome was a distinct brand identity, a functional and engaging content platform design, and a cohesive visual strategy for social media outreach, effectively launching YoungPWR's online presence and laying the groundwork for future expansion.
